Ok. I'm pretty sure a place called St. Paul coffee exists in the vicinity because I found it. It's just not at the address listed, or maybe it is, but just changed names. It doesn't matter. I like this one. It's a winner. As I often tire of the big coffee shop chains located on every other block, I like to try the smaller, not big-chain, local places. So, when I found this just off the skyway, I was thrilled. Probably one of the better cafe lattes I've had, I had here; both times, in fact, because I couldn't believe it the first time. Like all coffee shops, there's a full menu that made it hard for me to stick with a latte during my second visit. During my first visit, the woman who owns this shop and made my most awesome caffeine brew, even took time to explain how I could find this place as I had no idea how I found it the first time much less how to describe the location to the friend on her way to meet me. It's a cute space, with lots of big windows bringing in plenty of natural light, and bar stools facing the windows, plus a few small tables and chairs near the windows toward the back across from the coffee bar seating. It's set up like a small corner bar, but with better lighting, better decor, and better seating. Or, at least it seemed that way.
